Tesla announces that it increased the size of its Robotaxi fleet by 50%, but it never confirmed the original fleet size.

It appears Tesla was only operating about 20 vehicles in its “robotaxi” fleet so the number likely only rose to about 30 cars.

Tesla self-driving is still not working in Vegas’s single lane tunnels, but Elon says 50% of US this year

Tesla has reportedly begun testing self-driving features in the Boring Company’s single-lane tunnels in Las Vegas, but it is still “ways off,” according to the Las Vegas Convention Center, which owns the tunnels.

Yet, Elon Musk believes Tesla’s self-driving will cover half of the US population by the end of the year.

Tesla kept its promise not to settle. It may cost the company an extra $183 million.

Tesla rejected a $60 million settlement offer in the Autopilot wrongful death case which resulted in a $243 million verdict against the company, according to new legal documents.

It’s a rare example of Tesla sticking to its promise not to settle cases it thinks are unjust, and it may end up biting the company right in the pocketbook.

EIA: Solar and wind leave coal in the dust with record 2025 output

A new review of US Energy Information Administration (EIA) data by the SUN DAY Campaign reveals that solar delivered almost 9% of US electricity in the first half of 2025. Wind and solar combined produced just over one-fifth of the country’s electricity, while renewables as a whole hit nearly 28%.
