Elon Musk’s politics cost Tesla over 1 million sales in US alone, new study claims

We’ve been talking about the impact of Elon Musk’s venture into politics on the Tesla brand for years, but now a new study from the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) is putting some staggering numbers to it.

According to a new working paper, Musk’s “polarizing and partisan actions” have directly cost Tesla over a million vehicle sales in the US alone.

New study of 1,300 EVs busts battery degradation myths, Kia and Tesla top the list

We are getting some critical new data on battery health from a large-scale study in Sweden, and it’s a massive blow to EV naysayers.

The Swedish used-car marketplace Kvdbil conducted a large-scale test analyzing the “State of Health” (SoH) of over 1,300 used electric cars and plug-in hybrids (723 of which were all-electric).

The number of e-bikes that charge via USB-C just doubled. From one… to two.

Rivian’s ALSO e-bike, the company’s new micromobility offering spun out of its automotive division last week, includes a USB-C charging port for its battery – joining Ampler’s Nova, released earlier this year, as the only other known e-bike to embrace this modern charging standard.

Tesla driver avoids plane crash caught on video, fans falsely credit self-driving

Tesla fans celebrated what they claim was a Tesla vehicle on Full Self-Driving (FSD) that avoided a literal plane crashing into the road.

However, the driver confirmed that the Tesla vehicle was not in Full Self-Driving mode.
