Apple Maps EV routing now rolling out to F-150 Lightning trucks

Last month, Ford began notifying dealers that it planned to add Apple Maps EV routing to the F-150 Lightning before the end of the year. That rollout has now commenced, with the first wave of lucky F-150 Lightning drivers now able to tap into Apple Maps for their EV routing needs.

Tesla tries to boost sales by offering free Supercharging transfers to new orders

Tesla is attempting to boost sales by convincing owners of older Model S and Model X vehicles to upgrade by letting them transfer their free unlimited Supercharging onto new purchases.

That’s surprising considering just a few months ago, Tesla was trying to get owners to give up their free Supercharging to get a new car.

BMW development boss calls i3 ‘an outsider,’ says its successor will not be as polarizing in design

We are one year removed from the end of production of the BMW i3. While its makers look to inevitably introduce a successor to the affordable compact EV, don’t expect anything as radical looking. As BMW looks toward its “Neue Klasse” chapter in electrification, a development boss for the company says anything remotely resembling the i3 has no place in the brand’s future.
